Our Insurance Practice Group has litigated to successful resolution some of the most complex, catastrophic loss claims made in recent years. Notable examples include: the Hurricane Katrina claims of Ochsner Clinic Foundation, the largest medical provider in the New Orleans area, Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and the St. Bernard Parish School Board, the September 11, 2001 claim of ANC Rental Corporation (Alamo Rent-a-Car and National Car Rental), the long term environmental contamination claims of PPG Industries, the Delaware Trust Building Fire, the largest fire in Delaware history and the One Meridian Plaza fire, one of the largest high rise building fire claims in history. We have also provided loss counseling and coordinated litigation strategies for numerous clients in conjunction with catastrophic events, such as: Hurricane Katrina, the 2004 Florida Hurricanes, the 2003 Northeast Blackout, and the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
