Ms. Mondi primarily concentrates her practice in first-party insurance coverage, including litigating complex matters in state and federal courts and providing coverage opinions on various issues arising out of losses throughout the country.

Ms. Mondi recently litigated first-party coverage disputes resulting from Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. She also has experience litigating issues relating to environmental coverage, fraud, misrepresentation, business interruption, extra expense losses, bad faith and extra-contractual damages. Ms. Mondi advised insurers with respect to various coverage issues arising out of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma claims, including the application of deductibles, code upgrade, debris removal, business interruption, contingent business interruption, extra expense and extended period of indemnity. She also has also provided legal opinions and litigated claims arising out of third-party liability policies.
